A s s h o w n b y s e n s i t i z a t i o n e x p e r i m e n t s , t h e p o p u l a t i o n o f t h e l o w e s t T S C t r i p l e t l e a d s t o t h e u s u a l trans/cis i s o m e r i z a t i o n o f t h e T S C l i g a n d , b u t n o t t o t h e r e d o x r e a c t i o n .
